B&O PLAY has appointed Ingram Micro subsidiary Brightpoint as its new strategic distributor in New Zealand.

The company says the partnership will help B&O PLAY to expand its New Zealand consumer base and at the same time enhance Brightpoint’s audio portfolio with its range of wireless portable audio and headphone products.

“We are partnering with Brightpoint to strengthen and expand our presence in New Zealand. B&O PLAY will thrive on Brightpoint’s long-established relationships with major retailers and help us create a premium audio footprint in New Zealand. We are looking forward to working with Brightpoint to accelerate our growth in New Zealand,” says Karen Powell, B&O PLAY Sales & Marketing Manager for Australia & New Zealand.

“We are excited to start the B&O PLAY journey. There is a real gap in the market for a fashionable premium audio range and we think B&O PLAY fills that gap perfectly. Its products are greatly appreciated by casual listeners to music and fashion enthusiasts alike,” says Alan Nanson, Managing Director, Brightpoint New Zealand.
