DYSON JOURNEY CONTINUES - FROM FLOOR CARE TO HAIR CARE

Dyson has realised its second beauty product following the successful release of the premium Supersonic hair dryer last year.

The new Dyson Air Wrap Styler’s main point of difference is its use of the Coanda effect, where a high speed jet of air creates a difference in air pressure that flattens air to a hard surface.

This minimises physical contact on with hair and reduces the need for heat, meaning less damage on the hair.

Like its hair dryer counterpart, the Airwrap Styler has advanced temperature control monitoring heat at 40 times per second to regulate styling temperatures.

The Air Wrap Styler comes with six different attachments in a stylish tan leather box.

No word yet as to New Zealand availability.

SENNHEISER MOMENTUM TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS

After a successful debut at IFA, Sennheiser’s MOMENTUM True Wireless earbud style headphones will be available mid-November.

Billed as possibly the first truly wireless earbud competitor to Apple’s Airpods, the lightweight, splash resistant ear adapters come in four different sizes, ergonomically designed for the perfect fit.

With no physical buttons, control is via a series of intuitive touches and swipes on the left and right units to control music, answer phone calls, or access voice assistants.

Boasting quality audio the new earbuds also offer passive noise isolation that acts like noise cancelling models but without consuming power from the units.

Charging is done with the pocketable USB C powered case which holds the buds magnetically in place. The buds hold a four-hour charge, and the case can charge them twice more, for 12 hours’ total playback. The full set can be charged from flat in 90 minutes.
