FUJIFILM'S NEW CHALLENGER

The new Fujifilm X-T100 (photo above) is being touted as a challenge to the increasingly ubiquitous smartphone camera for those looking to take their photography to the next level.

The Latest entry in Fujifilm's X Series, the X-T100, is a sleek, retro-style, compact mirrorless digital camera for entry-level photographers with specs that blow any phone out of the water.

A powerful 24.2MP sensor is 14 times bigger than those in conventional smartphones offering superior low- light capability, colour reproduction and 4K movie recording.

It also comes with 11 film simulation modes, 17 filter options, a 3- way tilting touch screen and a newly developed autofocus algorithm for faster and more precise focusing.

An extended battery life makes 430 frames available per charge, while an improved Bluetooth capability makes transfer to paired devices faster than previous models.

Compact and lightweight at 448 grams, this easy to use model is available in dark silver and Black and will be in stores from June 18.
