iPhone Xs and Xs Max - best and biggest iPhones so far
The 5.8-inch iPhone Xs (photo above) and 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max feature "all-screen" Super Retina displays, a faster and improved dual camera system (with advanced new photo and video features), the first 7-nanometer chip in a smartphone, faster Face ID, wider stereo sound, a new gold finish (photo below) and bring Dual SIM to iPhone for the first time.
Both are also boast splash and water resistance of IP68 (up to 2 metres for 30 minutes).
iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max will be available in NZ from 21 September 2018 in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in space grey, silver and a new gold finish starting at NZ$1899 inc GST (64GB) and NZ$2099 inc GST (64gGB) respectively.

iPhone XR - the colourful bigger seller?
To be available in six colours, it will be another month before iPhone XR (above) is available. Sharing the same new chip and faster Face ID as its new Xs siblings, iPhone XR's key features include:
iPhone XR will be available in NZ from 26 October 2018 in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in white (above), black, blue, yellow, coral and (PRODUCT)RED starting at NZ$1,399 inc GST (64GB).
As an addendum, it sounds like Beats will have headphones in new colours to match the XR by the time it's released (more info here).

Apple Watch 4 - improving the breed
The Series 4 Apple Watch also launched this morning retains the existing design but has a new and 30% larger display, a new interface, improved accelerometer and gyroscope enabling fall detection and electrical heart rate sensor (which can handle an ECG).
There are two models with GPS and GPS + cellular
Available here from 21 September 2018, Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS) starts at NZ$699 inc GST and features the updated design and new health capabilities.
Series 3 will be available at the new starting price of RRP NZ$479 inc GST.
Apple Watch Series 4 comes in three aluminium finishes anodised in silver, gold and space grey.
A new collection of bands will become available, but all bands will still to work with any generation Apple Watch.
