Electrolux Pure i9 Robot Vacuum arrives

Previewed in our October 2017 issue, Electrolux has released its much anticipated Pure i9 robot vacuum in New Zealand.

Billed as “the most advanced robot vacuum cleaner on the market today”, Pure i9 features ClimbForceDrive, a detection system that prevents the unit getting stuck on carpet, under furniture or falling down stairs while 3D Vision mapping technology guides the unit to the most effective cleaning path and resumes cleaning where it stops after returning to the base for recharging.

The unit can also be fully controlled and scheduled remotely through the new Electrolux Pure i9 mobile app for Android and iOS.

Its unique triangular shape, combined with an efficient side brush, allows for tricky corners and edges to be cleaned while an extra wide brush roll gives a larger cleaning path.

For this premium model ($1,999), Electrolux is offering Platinum Elite, a back to base service for consumers anywhere in New Zealand in 72 hours, door-to-door.

Miele rolls out new merch designs with Blizzard bagless

The introduction of new floor care displays (example above), coincides with Miele's launch of its new Blizzard CX1.

Miele New Zealand General Manager, Steven Bellamy, explains:  “The Miele floorcare displays are an exciting addition to our in-store visibility.

“With the introduction of the revolutionary Blizzard CX1, Miele is the only premium brand to offer a total floorcare solution, that includes the various bagged vacuum floorcare categories and now bagless floorcare."

The Miele floor care displays are modular in design and flexible to accommodate a range of spaces and can showcase both the new bagless Blizzard CX1 as well as Miele’s various bagged floor care units, together with Miele floorcare accessories and consumables.

The Miele displays are currently being rolled out in key retail outlets across New Zealand.
