Electrolux and Midea Launch AEG in China - Electrolux has entered into a joint venture with Midea Group to introduce the premium AEG brand to Chinese consumers. The brand was officially launched at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo in Shanghai on 8 March. Find out more here.

Who's tops in product design? - Being awarded an iF Red Design Award is a big deal. This year Electrolux has been recognised for its Millennium built-in range. Apple's iPad Pro has one. AR glasses? Sounds good - We know Bose for its sound-producing products. Well now Bose is showing off a pair of styley Augmented Reality glasses (see photo above). Eh? What isn't obvious is that Bose is applying AR to the world around us using sound rather than some Pokemon-esque visual overlay. Find out more here.
Games are still good business - Just not for bricks & mortar retailers, by the sound of it. Still, last year New Zealand digital sales hit $334 million (+12%), full digital game downloads were +21% and sales of consoles and accessories sales were +10% and +6% respectively.
