Samsung NZ launched its latest flagship models Galaxy S9 and S9+ on Monday at Auckland’s celebrated French Café.

Representatives from industry, media outlets, as well as key social media influencers (and Wares of course...) were treated to a three-course degustation lunch served by French Café's Executive Chef Simon Wright while they checked out the phones' features.

Key features of the new phones include a Super Slow-mo video mode capturing 960 frames per second and Dual Aperture (F1.5 / F2.4) Low light camera, both offering new industry benchmarks for smartphone cameras.

Galaxy S9 and S9+ also offer a new AR Emoji feature that lets users create cute animated 3D models that can be shared across social media platforms.

Pre-orders have already started for the new models which will go on sale here on 16 March.
