Updated: Who's been moving & shaking at Appnet, Canon New Zealand, IXL Sampford NZ and Whirlpool Corporation?

Debbie Coogan (right) is new to the role of Sales Executive at IXL Sampford NZ. With 10+ years selling products to the NZ hairdressing industry, Debbie has been instrumental in developing, importing and selling a range of sought-after brands into the market. She says: “I am looking forward to working for such an iconic family owned business with many years of trading, and present the market with their exciting innovating range of products.”

Silvia Del Vitto (left) was recently appointed Managing Director of Whirlpool Corporation’s integrated Oceania business and has relocated to Melbourne from Singapore to oversee the Whirlpool and Ariston brands in the Australasian markets, as well as across Oceania. A Whirlpool executive of 15 years, Silvia was most recently Market Director of the Far East region for the Ariston and Indesit brands, which included Australia and New Zealand.

Also joining the Whirlpool Oceania team in Melbourne as Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing, is Liam Bryers, who readers may remember as a former Harvey Norman Prop and high achieving Bond & Bond Sales Executive, not to mention 2005 Wares Awards Young Retailer of the Year! Update: Since our original post on 10 April, Liam has been appointed General Manager Marketing Oceania for Whirlpool Oceania.

Skye Nicholls (right) is Canon New Zealand’s first Head of Customer Experience, a new team which brings together a number of internal divisions to focus on all aspects of the customer journey, from customer acquisition though to retention. Prior to joining Canon, Skye held a range of senior roles at information logistics and business process outsourcing specialists Converga and boasts a wealth of experience having led teams across Australia, New Zealand, USA and the Philippines delivering customer-focused solutions.

Davidda Hikatangata has recently moved to Auckland from Paeroa, Mel Peach having once again left Appnet on maternity leave. Davidda has both retail experience and years of experience in dealing with customers and suppliers and her first big outing for the organisation will be the 2017 Appnet Conference over 5-6 May on Auckland’s North Shore.
