CHANGES IN HIGH END HOME ENTERTAINMENT

By Wares October 21, 2016 Industry news

There have been two key changes to the NZ distribution of high end home entertainment products in recent weeks.

Premium audio for Brightpoint

B&O PLAY has appointed Ingram Micro subsidiary Brightpoint as its new strategic distributor in New Zealand. The company says the partnership will help B&O PLAY to expand its New Zealand consumer base and at the same time enhance Brightpoint’s audio portfolio with its range of premium wireless portable audio (see photo above) and headphone products.

High end hi-fi disty change

On 1 August, Interdyn became the official Devialet distributor for New Zealand, having taken over from KJ Distributors. Devialet is a French high end hi-fi manufacturer and comes with 58 awards, 107 patents and a growth rate of 500% a year. Says Interdyn: “This is the next revolution in hifi, and it’d be an understatement to say we’re excited.”
