Key changes at Beko, Ingram Micro and news from the Stringers...

Murray Linn is stepping down as MD of Beko’s ANZ operation in January, after which time he'll be "travelling and fishing". Central to the brand’s development in the ANZ markets since its launch just four years ago, Linn’s role will be taken over by highly experienced and well known former Electrolux Home Products MD and Electrolux China CEO, John Brown.

Adam Peden is Ingram Micro’s new General Manager of Retail Sales. Forming a key part of Ingram Micro’s strategy to further grow its presence across the country, Peden comes from within the Ingram Micro business, most recently leading the development and management of its Lifecycle Services Division and also as a senior retail account manager at the Ingram Micro-owned Brightpoint. His new role will include managing the Ingram Micro retail sales team and working with key partners. Peden’s appointment will enable Kelly Eyerman, General Manager Consumer and Apple business, to spend more time developing the vendor side of the consumer business.

Alan and Maxine Stringer of Stringers Betta Electrical, are retiring at the end of this year. The retail side of the business will be closing down but the servicing side of the business will continue. Appnet members for 20 years, the Stringers have set touring around the country in their sights and will no doubt remain as active as ever within their local community.
