The latest movers & shakers in the appliance channel

Who are some of the latest movers & shakers around the Wares channel? Who's who at Electrolux, Breville, Sunbeam, BDT and F&P/Haier?

Carol Chen has been announced as the new SVP & Managing Director of Electrolux Small Appliances (ESA) APAC, effective July. Formerly GM of China for ESA, she will be relocating to Singapore and replaces Claus Andersen. 



Lynne Cusack has been promoted to Breville’s National Sales Manager. Brett O’Neill, Breville Managing Director, says: “Lynne has clearly demonstrated her ability to lead the Breville sales team and promote further revenue growth for the Company’s portfolio of leading brands. This internal promotion reflects Lynne’s strong sales results with designated National Accounts and contribution as a key member of the company’s business forum.”


Neil Hunt is Sunbeam’s Sale Representative for the Lower North Island/South Island. He comes to Sunbeam with a wealth of knowledge and experience at both supplier and retailer levels. “After a few years out of the industry it’s great to be back into it with Sunbeam as they launch into a new and exciting phase of their product growth,” says Neil.

 

Also at Sunbeam, Tino Lendis has been appointed Upper North Island Sales Representative. He says: “I’m am excited to join the Sunbeam family and contribute to the growth that we have been enjoying across the retail network.” Cliff Carr, National Sales & Marketing Manager says: “Tino is a strong relationship builder and brings a wealth of experience from a varied sales and marketing background, we are confident he will quickly add value to our customer’s businesses as we continue our journey of reinvention.”


Brooke Storey has joined BDT as Mitsubishi Electric Territory Manager for Auckland, Waikato and Northland territory. Having joined the team early June, Brooke is fairly new to the retail appliance industry. She brings marketing and sales experience from her previous roles among leading brands and is thoroughly looking forward to being a part of BDT.

 


Fisher & Paykel has a number of appointments across both the F&P and Haier brands to pass on to the industry at large:

Riki Katae joined Fisher & Paykel late last year, replacing Richard Hurndell as the Fisher and Paykel Area Manager for the Upper South Island and West Coast. Riki brings 5 years of retail sales and management experience from his previous roles within Smiths City Group.


Margaret Matt-Ho will be looking after Hawkes Bay for both Fisher & Paykel and Haier from August, having joined Fisher & Paykel last year, as Haier Area Manager for Auckland/Hamilton. She brings a wealth of sales experience to the role, including regional sales and relationship management skills garnered from her time with Monaco Corporation and Robinhood.

Sheena Norman joined Fisher & Paykel in March as the new Haier Area Manager for Wellington, Palmerston North and Central. Sheena’s most recent role was as Ops Manager for Pub Charity and prior to this worked for Lion Nathan as a Business Development Manager in the Wellington region. One of Sheena’s achievements while working for Lion Nathan was being awarded Sales Professional of the Year 2007. 

Melissa Thompson was appointed to the new dual role of Fisher & Paykel and Haier Area Manager for the Lower South Island in January. Melissa has 10+ years of Account Management experience within numerous industries and replaces Tony Ward who has moved to another division within Fisher & Paykel.

James Webb joined Fisher & Paykel in March after a very distinguished 9-year career working for Harvey Norman. He is the Fisher & Paykel Area Manager within the Wellington and Central Regions and brings extensive retail and commercial sales experience to the role.
